NCUPC Officers

The officers of the National Committee on Urban Pest Control [NCUPC] are classified in two [2]. These are: Elected Officers and Appointed Officers.

A. Elected Officers:

Chairman	- Mayor Jose L. Atienza, City of Manila
Co-Chairman	- Secretary Rolando Puno, Department of the Interior & Local Government
Co-Chairman	- Secretary Angelo Reyes, Department of Environmental & Natural Resources
Vice-Chairman	- Dr. Liwanag Godinez, MMDA Health Operations Center Executive Director
Secretary	- Mr. Mel Capristano, Department of National Defense Administrator
Treasurer	- Engr. Francis Mapile, Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen & Professionals – Manila Chapter
Auditor	- Dr. Remigia Nathanielsz, Commission on Higher Education Director
Press Relations Officer	- Mr. Juan Mendoza, Department of Education representative

B. Appointed Officers:

The NCUPC is also governed by the elected Board of Trustees [BOT] composed of government agencies and non-governmental organizations. The current BOT of the NCUPC are listed below: Department of Science and Technology [DOST], Department of Public Works & Highways [DPWH], Department of Tourism [DOT], Metropolitan Manila Development Authority [MMDA], Department of Trade and Industry [DTI], Earthsavers Movement of the Philippines, Filipino Inventors Solidarity Through Christian Brotherhood [FIS-CB], Department of Labor and Employment [DOLE], Boy Scout of the Philippines [BSP], Girls Scout of the Philippines [GSP], Soroptimists International, Department of National Defense [DND], Recycling Movement of the Philippines Foundation, Inc. [RMPFI], MAPECON Philippines, Inc., Department of Education [DepEd], Technical & Skills Development Authority [TESDA], Commission on Higher Education [CHED], Department of Environmental & Natural Resources [DENR], Department of Health [DOH], Department of the Interior & Local Government [DILG] and the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen & Professionals [BCBP]. Added to the BOT are the Hotel & Restaurant Association of the Philippines [HRAP] and the Philippine Association of Food Technologies [PAFT].

The NCUPC has also appointed its Councils of Advisers [CA] composed of represented individuals from government agencies and non-governmental organizations. The current CA of the NCUPC are listed below: Her Excellency Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, President [Former Vice President of the Philippines/ DSWD Secretary]; Honorable Manuel Villar, Senator [Former House Speaker]; Mr. Albert Fenix, CA of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce & Industry [PCCI]; Honorable Jejomar Binay, Makati City Mayor [Former MMDA Chairman]; Honorable Rolando Puno, Former DILG Undersecretary; Honorable Alicia Reyes, PAGCOR Chairman; Honorable William Padolina, Former DOST Secretary; Honorable William Dar, Former DA Secretary; President of the National Press Club; His Excellency Fidel V.
